OUR INFORMATION

Here at Sunny Days Nursery our aim is to work closely with parents to provide children with a home away from home. By working in partnership with parents and families we aim to create a warm, safe and happy environment. This will help create a setting where your child can grow in confidence and independence in preparation not only for school, but also life. Once at the setting your child will be given a keyworker who will work closely with both you and your child helping them to settle into the setting. Your child’s keyworker will also work with you and your child to ensure they receive an integrated, balanced, broad, stimulating differentiated, play-based curriculum.

We believe that for children to develop both their knowledge and social skills they need a safe as well as stimulating atmosphere in which to explore their own interests. Our setting is regulated by Ofsted to ensure we provide your child with the opportunity to play safely whilst at the same time participate in stimulating structured activities, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our stimulated activities blend with the free play effortlessly, helping to create a relaxed homelyatmosphere, whilst encouraging your child to become an independent learner.  Above all we recognise that all children develop their own pace of doing things, we shall not push them, merely encourage them. Through regular parent consultations we will keep you informed of your child’s development andlearning.

However, if you have any concerns or questions we operate an open door policy and your child’s keyworker will be happy to talk to you.
